Academics at GGB Royal International School

At GGB Royal International School, we believe that a good education is the foundation for a bright future. Our goal is to provide a safe, caring, and active learning environment where your child can grow confidently.

We proudly follow the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) syllabus. Our teaching methods are simple, modern, and focused on making sure students truly understand what they are learning, rather than just memorizing from books.

The Learning Journey

Pre-Primary to Class 2: The Foundation Years

For our youngest learners, school is all about joy and discovery. We focus on making them comfortable and eager to learn.

  • What they learn: Alphabets, numbers, good habits, and how to get along with others.
  • How they learn: Rhymes, storytelling, coloring, playing with blocks, and fun activities.

Classes 3 to 5: Building the Basics

As children grow, we help them build strong basics in reading, writing, and mathematics.

  • What they learn: English, Hindi/Local Language, Math, Environmental Studies (EVS), and basic computer skills.
  • How they learn: Simple projects, reading aloud, group activities, and asking questions about the world around them.

Classes 6 to 8: Exploring New Subjects

In middle school, students are introduced to more detailed subjects to find out what interests them the most.

  • What they learn: Science, Mathematics, Social Studies, Languages, and Computers.
  • How they learn: Science lab experiments, chart making, library reading, and learning how to use technology for studying.

Classes 9 and 10: Preparing for the Boards

These are crucial years. We prepare our students not just for the CBSE Board exams, but to think clearly and solve problems.

  • Focus: Deep understanding of core subjects and completing practical files.
  • Support: Extra attention to clear doubts, regular practice tests, and guidance on how to manage exam stress.

Classes 11 and 12: Stepping Towards the Future

For the senior-most students, we offer different subject streams (Science, Commerce, and Arts/Humanities) so they can choose the path that matches their career dreams.

  • Focus: Focused studies, advanced lab work, and preparation for college admissions and competitive exams.

How We Teach

We want our students to enjoy coming to school. To make studies interesting, we use:

  • Smart Classrooms: Using TVs and projectors to show educational videos that make hard topics easy to understand.
  • Learning by Doing: Taking students out of the classroom for activities, sports, and practical lab work.
  • Focus on English Speaking: Encouraging students to speak and write confidently in English, while respecting our mother tongue.

How We Check Progress

We know parents worry about marks, but we look at the complete growth of your child.

  • Regular Class Tests: Small, friendly tests so we know if a child needs extra help before the final exams.
  • Overall Growth: We don’t just give marks for written exams. We also look at their behavior, attendance, participation in sports, and how well they do in projects.
  • Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs): Regular meetings with you to discuss your child’s progress openly and work together for their improvement.
